Lip piercings 101

Virgin

Named after the musical icon, Madonna’s piercing is placed on the right side of her face, just above her upper lip. The exact location of Madonna’s own mole.

Monroe

There is no more iconic beauty brand than Marilyn Monroe. Monroe’s piercing is a tribute to that. It is placed on the left side of the face, just above the upper lip, exactly where Marilyn’s mole was.

Labret

While it is considered a lip piercing, with a labret the lip is not technically pierced. The labret is just below the lower lip above the chin.
