Error 711: Unable to load the Remote Access Service Connection Manager. Error 711 in Windows 7 can appear when creating a new network connection. When you connect your computer to the Internet, it can happen. This article guides you through various solutions of the said error.

Enable some required services

There are three services: 1) Telephony 2) Remote Access Connection Manager and 3) Remote Access Automatic Connection Manager. These services must be enabled to avoid error 711 in Windows 7.

1. Click the Start button on the taskbar.
2. Type Computer Management in the search box.
3. Expand the following:
A. Services and Management
b. Services
4. Right click and enable the following services:
A. Telephony
b. Remote Access Connection Manager
against Remote Access Automatic Connection Manager
5. Close Computer Management.

Check network settings

Incorrect network settings can cause error 711 in Windows 7. Make sure your network settings are set correctly.

1.Click Start | Control Panel.
2. In the Network and Internet group, click View network settings and tasks.
3. Click a connection on the new page. For example, Local Area Connection 1.
4. Click Properties.
5. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click Properties.
6. Check the IP address entered there. Please note that your LAN IP address should start from 192.168.1.x. You can ask your Internet Service Provider (ISP) for the correct IP address.
7. Click OK | Accept | Near.

2. Type RegEdit in the search box and press ENTER.
3. Browse the following registry path:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesRasManPPPEAP
4. Delete all the subkeys in the old registry hive.
5. Close Registry Editor and restart your computer.

Highly recommended solution
