How to uninstall Windows Live

To uninstall Windows Live, what you have to do is close all its services, deleting each element of the main program and all its registry information one by one.

First to turn it off and uninstall the main program. Many programs developed by Microsoft can easily find their way to be firmly combined with your system, some of them run constantly every time you turn on your computer. This feature is really a danger for you to uninstall Windows Live completely. If you checked all the sub-items in the installation, the following items should be found and you need to finish all of them, apart from the annoying Messenger that appears every time:

You should be able to find them in Control Panel, but remember to have them completely disabled first, though not all of them are on all the time. And if you’re like me, who doesn’t even know where to find them, let alone turn them off, but really wants to uninstall Windows Live, you can also try System Safe Mode, in which None of your programs will run unless manually. operated.

When all services are down, you can now start the removal. However, removing those items from Add/Remove Programs doesn’t necessarily mean a complete uninstall every time, especially when the program is damaged or corrupted. In this case you should find three directories below:

The problem is that these entries are hard to find and you will risk locking your PC to use Registry Editor. I didn’t want it, so I reached out for help. A little application called Special Uninstaller came as my final solution. With the features of the Force and Special uninstall method, I was able to completely remove it by showing Perfect Uninstaller all three directories. The advantage is that, no matter what file/directory you tell Perfect Uninstaller, it will scan your computer before deleting the file or directory, “excavating” all associated registry entries and making sure there are no leftovers. This is really useful and effective when you don’t want to mess up your registry.
