They can withstand damage and have plenty of sailors to turn to if boarding is necessary. Broadband platforms are best suited for combat ships that want to devastate everything in range by firing multiple volleys as quickly, accurately, and with as much damage as possible. Upgrade your armor and your cannon’s damage-dealing ability with items like overcharged cannons and armored planks.
