Why your cat needs a cat tree

All children love a tree house. Your cat is like a child to you, so why wouldn’t you want to give him the toy of his dreams? Cat trees, cat tree houses, cat condos, have various names, but they all mean fun for cats. They fill a cat’s desire to sleep, scratch, scratch, play and explore. If this is the type you prefer, look for one that attaches to the ceiling with pressure. It will be much easier to install and will not require any hardware or fasteners that will damage the roof.

Faux fur covered models come in a variety of colors and patterns including paw prints and leopard prints. Carpeted models tend to hold up better and are generally sold in neutral colors to match your décor.

Sturdier cat tree models are available with larger platforms for fat cats or naughty kitties to prevent tipping over. If your cat is older or has reduced mobility, you can find models with levels closer together and with horizontal scratching surfaces.
