Physical seminar or streaming webinars for your next event?

There are a couple of routes you can take when you want to take some kind of training course. You can always go the old way and rent a hotel conference room, expect people to buy and travel to your event, or now you can host that event online using what’s called a webinar. I think you should seriously consider hosting a live webinar instead of a live webinar because there is less expense, you can provide a lower cost to your clients, and it is easier to make and use recordings of that event.

Taking a seminar can be quite stressful. You have to pay money for your own flight and hotel room, you have to rent a conference room, get a videographer, all while waiting for enough people to buy to at least cover your costs and the time invested in traveling and introducing yourself. On the other hand, running a webinar is extremely low cost and running a single event is basically free. That means you’re already making a profit when your first buyers arrive, taking the pressure off you.

You also get more buyers using this technique because you don’t have to charge $ 500, $ 1,000, or $ 2,000 to sell seats. You can host a webinar and sell tickets for $ 50 or even $ 100 for just one day or one weekend. This means that it is a lower cost and an easier deal for people because they do not have to pay for flights, hotel rooms and spend all that time traveling. They pay for normal computer access and now connect to their presentation in real time.

Finally, it is easier to record a webinar than it is to record a teleseminar. And let me explain. When you conduct a webinar, you have to hire a videographer, worry about lighting, audio, and if the videographer is good. On the other hand, when you record a webinar, you just hit the record button and record your screen. This makes it much easier to ensure you have a decent recording to repackage to DVD, video for a membership site, or even sell the transcripts, if not all three. And that’s my argument for running a live, real-time webinar instead of a typical upline webinar. There is less expense for you, less expense for your clients, and it is easier for you to reuse and reuse the recording.
