Where is the word of a king – there is the power

Ecclesiastes 8:4 says, “Where the word of a King is, there is the power.” We have a King, and his name is Jesus. The question is, where is his word in our life? Is he on a shelf collecting dust or is he in our hearts and out of our mouths? If his word is sitting on a book shelf gathering dust, then his power is not working for us.

For the word of the King to work because of the power it has in it, then it must be in our hearts and come out of our mouths. We must believe that the word is true despite what we see or feel. We must remember that we have been translated from the kingdom of darkness and placed into the kingdom of the precious Son of God, Jesus, the Son of his love, where all things work together for our good.

God has exalted His word above His own name, and He watches over it to fulfill it. Therefore, when He hears his word come out of our mouths, he is obligated to fulfill it. As for us, we must stick to what we say until the results are seen.

As born again believers, we are in Christ; the King and as He is, so are we in the world. Many Christians believe they are in Christ, but are not experiencing good results in their lives. The most likely reason is; they expect the Lord to do everything for them. They are not praying his word which is a serious mistake, they are not using the authority they have in the name of Jesus, and they are not pleading for the Blood of Jesus. The Blood is vital for prayers to be answered. It is a vital weapon in God’s arsenal that He has given us to use to resist the devil.

It is okay to speak our words to the Lord, but what we say must be in line with what He has said in His word, then the power of the King’s word will appear in our life. Jesus said in Mark 11:23-24 “For truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, Get off and throw yourself into the sea, and he will not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will be done to him, everything that say it will be granted. That is why I tell you that whatever you ask for, when you pray, believe that you will receive it, and you will have it. So we can see in the writing that we need to say. We have been given the authority in the name of Jesus to decree a thing, and it shall be done. It is not God’s will for us to cry out to Him and beg for anything, but unfortunately, this is what many of us are doing. Praying to God is a sign of a weak Christian, and that is not his will for us. He wants us to be strong and secure in him. In order for us to be strong in him, we need to be filled with his word.

There is power in the King’s word to produce, but it requires our correct belief and our correct speaking. God will not alter his word to accommodate our lack of knowledge; He can’t do that, no matter how much we plead.

We have an adversary who steals. He will take God’s answer to our prayers and place it in his kingdom of darkness, but we have the King’s word on it; Jesus said in Luke 10:19 “Behold, I give you power to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall harm you.” We can use this authority to command the devil to restore, and when the Blood of Jesus is applied against him, he will flee. He cannot be in the presence of the Blood nor can he penetrate or cross it. He hates the Blood because there is life in it; the life of God

There is an absolute supreme power in the King’s word that no enemy can resist, and His word will not return to Him void.
